>An office is best managed beyond 20ft. This is important for doctors starting in practice. Many times I am tempted to gauge the health of my practice based on today. When you are new in practice and your day totals 3 patient interactions, you could walk away thinking you’ve failed. I know from experience, keeping your vision beyond 20ft is extremely critical. Decisions should be made asking yourself, “What will be the impact 6 months from now?” I’ve learned this the hard way in coaching staff. They need to see my vision and start processing change before I take action on implementing change.
