If you are reading this blog then most likely you have your own optometry business or you aspire to own one.  I have posted a sample Job Description/Expectation that all of your staff should be familiar with.  If you are operating or plan on operating your business without these then you are flying by the seat of your pants and “not planning is planning to fail.”  Great practices don’t happen by accident, they are intentional.  First step to creating these, hand out a blank piece of paper to your staff and have them fill out what they believe their job description and expectations are.  This is a great exercise b/c it will also show you what you have been communicating to them.  Let me know what you learned about your staff and your communication.
